The MumCo

Here at The MumCo, we gather and support mums. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when mums come together.

The pioneering movement MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) began in 1973 when a group of mums with young children in Colorado banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 50 years, MOPS expanded its reach across the globe to over 100 countries and to include ALL mums. You can read more about our rebrand from MOPS to the MumCo here.

​MOPS first began in Australia in 1992. It continued to grow here and we became a separate affiliated organisation, MOPS Australia Inc. in 2000. After running like this with the support of MOPS International for 22 years, we made the decision to merge back with MOPS International in 2022. In 2023 we renamed to The MumCo. 

​The MumCo is a Christian Non-Profit organisation. 

​Every mama nurtures and parents her kiddos differently, and it’s in those differences that we learn from each other. We are better together!

The MumCo meets every second Thursday morning from 9:30am-11:30am during school terms.
